Information You Submit
Text entered in a search form, such as a name, phone number, or address, goes to the outside provider that supplies the results. Walnut People Search does not retain its own copy of that query. A message sent to us contains only what you decide to share, and we use it to address your request.
Information Collected Automatically
Our hosting systems create ordinary logs containing an IP address, browser type, visited pages, and timestamps. Aggregated log data helps maintain the service and show which resources visitors use. Cookies or comparable tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where applicable.
How We Use the Data
These limited records support site operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and page improvements. We neither sell a visitor list nor create individual user profiles.
Privacy on Linked Services
Links lead to government portals, Los Angeles County and California offices, library collections, and outside search services. Information submitted after following a link is controlled by that service's policy. The same applies to sponsored results, which come from a separate company.
Parties That Process Data
Hosting and support vendors process technical logs for us. Analytics or advertising providers may receive the automatic information described above. Data may also be disclosed in response to valid legal process; it is not otherwise shared.
Data Safeguards
An encrypted connection serves the site, and technical logs are kept only as long as needed for the purposes stated here. The site has no user accounts, passwords, or stored member profiles.
Visitors Under 18
Walnut People Search is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect a minor's personal information. Contact us if a minor submitted information so it can be removed.
California Privacy Rights
California Consumer Privacy Act rights may include access, correction, or deletion of personal information a covered business holds, subject to exceptions. The Delete Act also governs registered data brokers and the state's deletion mechanism. Because Walnut People Search retains little, a request usually involves checking contact messages and technical logs. Submit one through the Contact page. Public records held by Walnut, Los Angeles County, or California agencies remain outside our control, so a correction or access request for those files must go to the custodian.
Policy Changes
A revised policy will appear here. Continuing to use the site after an update indicates acceptance of the new terms.
